Written and drawn by Max van Doorn, Tanked combines a classic lighthearted artstyle with a slightly cynical humor. A tough goldfish is ripped from his home on the streets of the city sewer system, and finds himself in a petstore fishtank, where he is crowned king. Seeing a combined IQ of his new comrades in the single digits, Oscar must take care of the crazy fishtank inhabitants himself.

The Author:
Writer/artist Max van Doorn is a senior in highschool who, when not memorizing jokes and wearing silly costumes, spends his time doodling pictures of his friends, and animating with an outdated version of Anime Studio. (Flash is for people with money.....and a real job.) Tanked is his first endeavor in digital storytelling, and plenty of future plans are already in the works.
Origins:
The journey to Tanked began in October of 2010, with a mock movie poster of an unusual goldfish with big eyebrows. After months of writing, rewriting, and character design, Tanked officially launched on March 15th, 2011.
After August 13, 2011, the webcomic went on Hiatus until its official relaunch on June 26, 2012.
